About Us

Bored with the day to day monotony of working in a factory environment for twenty five years, promoting quality techniques and stream lining manufacturing processes, my wife and I were looking for a fresh challenge. In July of 2006 we walked into a gemstone shop in a small Cyprus town and immediately fell in love with the natural beauty that surrounded us as we drooled over agate slices, wind chimes and gemstone globes for the first time.

 

When we returned to the UK we set about researching the products previously discussed with the shop owners while on holiday. This intern rekindled my school boy interest in geology, rocks and minerals.

 

We decided to specialise and using our profits from the eBay auctions we set up Qualityshop_wales in September 2006 as a specialist shop for Crystals and Gemstones in eBay shops.

 

Building on our success in eBay shops and with help from the local authority we decided to develop an online eCommerce store to help grow our passion for High Quality Minerals, Gemstones and Fossils as well as expand our understanding of  Chakra, Pagan and Wicca. The result is CrystalsnGems.com

 

With a background in Quality Assurance and Customer Care we wanted to provide a service to our customers that allow you to purchase Quality Products with confidence at Competitive Prices and with a Fast Delivery, something we rarely experienced with an online store at that time.

 

In 2012 we teamed up with Remploy Bristol. The Remploy facility helped pick, pack and dispatch to our growing eBay and Amazon customer base while creating work for disabled employee’s.

 

We still to this day focus on “Quality” in all we do. Today we are based in the the JR Business Centre on the Treforest Ind Eat, off the A470 just outside Cardiff on the M4 corridor.

We offer a Fast, Friendly and Personal service much valued by our regular customers. As a family business we also welcome feedback about the products we sell and the service we provide. This feedback is then used constructively to continually improve our online processes and items to satisfy you, the customer, and provide you with an enjoyable shopping experience that you can recommend to others.
